CONCLUSION
Overall, this project was very enjoyable and rewarding.
We were able to effectively adjust to our user feedback to create a prototype which reflected their wishes.
The VR aspect was quite difficult to use at first, but after trial and error, we got the hang of it.
With a much longer amount of time to complete the project and a larger team, we could have produced a higher-fidelity product.
ETHICS
Ethically, our project is reasonably safe.
The main ethical considerations around the app involve the use of VR itelf. VR can cause eye strain if over-used and can cause nausea for certain members of the population, though this is mostly for environments involving quick movements.
These problems are ameliorated by encouraging our participants to take regular breaks and cease using the program if they feel nauseous at all.
Our user testing was completed in the strictest confidence and no users' names have been included for ethical purposes. All users completed consent forms before testing.
